Jennifer Lopez’s soon-to-be-ex- husband Marc Anthony seems to have moved on quick. In an interview with the news magazine Nightline, the singer said, “I’ll tell you that it wasn’t something sensationalistic happening. It was a realization on both our parts. So, you know, it wasn’t shocking. These things happen. It was a decision that we made jointly.”
He seems to be in a good place and head space over the split, refusing to let himself be destroyed.
“This is not a funeral. This is not a burial. This is just two people who came together and just realized… I’m saying that it wasn’t sustainable the way it was, and that’s that,” he said.
Anthony said that he will “always love Jennifer…She knows that and my kids know that. Jennifer is a wonderful, wonderful woman, a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend.”
While he admits that “it is sad,” he is happy for their time together, which produced twins Max and Emme. He said, “You think about your family, the possibilities, but we realized very early on that even though we’re not together, this story’s not over. There’s stuff to do together, life to see together through Max and Emme, so it’s all good.”
